Won't the screen break?
No, the screen won't break if you shoot balls and it hits the backboard or if you dunk on it!
The screen sits behind a protective layer and is shielded from impact by the ball through multiple layers of shock absorption.
Light dunking is ok. Hanging on the rim is strictly prohibited.
Are there cameras that track your shot?
No there are NO cameras on the huupe mini and we did this for your privacy and security.
The huupe mini uses advanced AI sensor technology to track all of your shots and it knows where you shot from with over 99% accuracy (all without cameras).
The huupe mini comes with NO CAMERAS so you don’t have to worry about anyone hacking the cameras like you do on other in home products.
What comes with the huupe mini?
The huupe mini comes fully equipped with everything you need to have it set up and play. The huupe mini box contains:
• Full huupe mini backboard system
• Breakaway rim + net
• Official huupe pro-grip mini ball
• Official huupe mini ball pump (needle is in the handle)

How do I install the huupe mini?
You can install huupe mini in two ways.
First, over-the-door installation with the door hooks that come in the package. You simply screw the door hooks to the back of the huupe mini via the instructions in the Quick Start Guide and place over any standard door of your choosing.
Second, if you don't have any doors that work OR you prefer to install on the wall like you would a TV, huupe sells wall mount kits separately that enable you to install on the wall just like you would a TV via VESA mount holes in the back of the huupe mini. You can do studded wall mount or anchor wall mount.
Is there a subscription to huupe mini?
Free games included. huupe + membership for access to more features and play. Please find more on huupe + at: huupe + membership.
Does not include free subscription to streaming apps like: HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, etc.
Does the huupe mini work with any ball?
We recommend that the huupe mini be used specifically with the official huupe pro-grip mini ball that comes included in the box. This is best for optimal shot tracking.
What is the Daily Prize Challenge ("DPC")?
The Daily Prize Challenge ("DPC") is a game that allows a user to win a daily prize for whoever makes the most 3-pointers in a row that day.
Prizes vary each day. Sometimes prizes may be USD, h-bucks, clothes, swag, tickets to game and more!
Every day the clock restarts. The challenge is every 24 hours. You can earn and purchase more attempts through gameplay.

2) Add your friends inside the app
3) Invite them to a game or challenge

Can the huupe ARENA LED Lights Be Used as a Shot Clock Backboard light?
Yes the huupe ARENA mobile app has bluetooth connectivity to the LED lights on the backboard and a mobile app with full score keping capabilities and an automated game shot clock that is customizable (i.e. 24 seconds game clock or 35 second game clock, 8 minute quarters, 20 minute halves, etc.)
Our latency is sub .1 seconds to the LED lights on the backboard making this an extremely accurate scorekeeping and game system for use in games.
What if you don’t want the LED lights to light up and just want the data? Are there different settings for the LED lights?
Yes, through our mobile application you have full control of the LED lights and this feature is completely free for all users.
Here are the different light modes:
- Green light for makes / red light for misses (all shots)
- No lights at all
- green on (this is constant)
- red on (this is constant)
- College Green 3's only (the only feedback you get is lighting up green on College 3's)
- PRO Green 3's only
- Green and Red 3's only (the only feedback you get is on 3's. Either green for make, red for miss)
- Some games have green for swish, yellow for a make that hits the rim and red for miss
